Hong Kong’s Future: Courage, Change, and Hard Work

Recently, people from all walks of life in Hong Kong are making suggestions for Chief Executive Lee Kar-chao’s second “Policy Address”, and it has become a consensus to promote prosperity through change. In the face of changes in the global economy and uncertainties in the domestic and foreign economies, how can Hong Kong stand alone? Therefore, this year’s “Policy Address” is an important action guide for Hong Kong at a critical moment, and it is also a practical declaration of the SAR government’s governance team headed by Li Jiachao to fight for economy, development, and competitiveness. We should see that changes in internal and external contradictions have brought great opportunities and challenges to Hong Kong today.

Although there are many new and old difficulties that have yet to be resolved , Hong Kong’s unique advantages of “patriots ruling Hong Kong”, “one country, two systems” and facing the world with the motherland behind will definitely become more prominent. Therefore, we must promote prosperity through change, dare to innovate and change, and we cannot adapt to the struggle for economic development and development, let alone exert the momentum of “prosperity”.

 The achievements of the new chief executive and the new team in the past year depend on extraordinary courage, daring to show the sword and hard work. In the coming year, extraordinary courage and daring to fight and win will be needed. Our overseas Chinese community will continue to support the SAR government in governing according to law.

Extraordinary achievements must come from extraordinary hard work. Hong Kong’s four major centers of finance, aviation trade, technology, and culture need to be strengthened and expanded; Hong Kong’s middle class team needs to preserve and increase their wealth; Hong Kong’s listed companies and small and medium-sized enterprises need to be revived and revitalized;

The problem needs to be solved pragmatically. We firmly believe that with the strong support of the central government, the social stability brought about by the Hong Kong National Security Law, the strong leadership of Chief Executive Lee Kar-chao and the SAR government’s governance team, and the unity of the general public as “patriots governing Hong Kong”, Hong Kong’s tomorrow will definitely be better. good!

We look forward to the grand release of the new “Policy Address”. We hope that Hong Kong’s achievements in economic development, development and competitiveness will write a new chapter and create new glories.
