Top Methods to Prepare for CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam 2024-25

Biology is a very interesting subject as it focuses on the study of living beings, including ourselves and our surrounding matter like plants, microbes, etc. This is the basic science subject that is compulsory to study like other science subjects i.e Physics and Chemistry.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has designed the Biology syllabus with the objective to promote the understanding of the basic principles of Biology. So every year CBSE revises its class 12 Biology syllabus and releases it on its official website.

This year also CBSE did the same and released the latest Class 12 Biology Syllabus 2024-25 which we will be talking about in detail along with some top-notch study tips to cover and study for CBSE Class 12 Biology Paper.

Top Methods to Prepare for CBSE Class 12 Biology 2024-25

Biology is a very interesting subject, and that’s what makes it very scoring. Although there are various ways to score good marks in biology, we are going to provide some of the best ways that will help cover your CBSE Class 12 Biology  Syllabus 2025 as well as help you score good marks in the exam cbse board exam. Before we get started you have to cover it is advised that you download the latest  CBSE Class 12 Biology Syllabus pdf and study it thoroughly.

  • Create a Study Schedule

After you have gone through the Class 12 biology syllabus, create a study plan for each chapter. Write the topics, time, day, etc., in the study plan and paste it around your study table. Make sure you include all the topics and deadlines for each topic as this will leave you some room for revision.

  • Refer to Additional Resources

While NCERT textbooks are Bible for covering the CBSE  Class 12 Biology Syllabus, additional resources like reference books, online resources, and videos will supplement your studies to gain a deeper understanding of complex topics.

  • Create Flashcards

To make learning long-lasting you have to avoid the rot learning method and adopt methods that are more creative and fun. For instance, you can create flashcards for important definitions, formulas, and diagrams. Use these flashcards for quick revision, especially during the last few days before the exam.

  • Diagram Practice

Biology is well understood and better retained in the memory if you practice diagrams. Make practice reproducing diagrams accurately and labeling them correctly to ensure you can do so during the exam. If you can remember labeled diagrams well you can easily relate the process and explain it in a very lucid way when asked in the board exam.

  • Practice Previous Year’s Papers

Solving previous year’s question papers of CBSE Class 12 Biology is like a map to the hidden treasure. This helps you with understanding the exam pattern, question types, and difficulty level of the paper.  This will also help you identify important topics and focus areas. Also when you solve past year’s Biology Class 12 paper by simulating the exam environment you will feel the pressure of finishing the question paper in time. This way you will also learn to perform under stress and work on your weak spot.

  • Mock Tests
