Fans of Hogwarts Legacy are already looking for the best ways to build their characters. Here are the most powerful builds.
Even though Hogwarts Legacy has been out for a while, many Harry Potter fans are still thrilled to be able to run around Hogwarts. There is a lot to discover in and around the magical school, and players are excited to finally be a part of the Wizarding World.
Some people can’t wait to play their favorite Harry Potter figures. Others are trying to find the riskiest way to make the best magic. In Hogwarts Legacy, there are some easy-to-make builds that can destroy most enemies and help players become the best wizards possible.
Explosive Fire Build
Players can try a powerful fire build in Hogwarts Legacy if they like fireworks as much as a certain future Hogwarts student named Seamus Finnigan. First, players will have to learn the spells Incendio, Confringo, and Bombarda and then unlock the Spell Talents that will make these spells even more powerful. The upgraded Transfiguration spell is also a great choice for this build, since the barrel-shaped enemy that is changed by the spell blasts when it hits.
Then, in the Room of Requirement, players can use the Enchanted Loom to improve their gear with Traits like Scorching III, Explosive III, and Destruction III, which will make their fire-based spells even stronger. Most Traits can be found in Collection Chests after destroying Bandit Camps, but some can only be gotten by doing Combat Challenges.
Ancient Magic Build
Ancient magic is at the heart of the Hogwarts Legacy story. It’s a rare form of magic that only the main character can use, and he or she is the only one who has ever done so in living memory. Players can use magic combos to fill up their Ancient Magic Meter, which then lets them use deadly Ancient Magic Finishers that look epic. Most enemies in the game can be killed by these finishers in one hit, so making a build that improves them is one of the easier ways to get too strong in Hogwarts Legacy.
First, players will want to add more bars to their Ancient Magic Meter by finishing one of the game’s exploration challenges and collecting Ancient Magic Traces from ruins around the map. Next, they will want to unlock any Ancient Magic Talents, like Basic Cast Airborne Absorption, which lets Basic Casts on enemies in the air fill up the meter. Lastly, players can improve their gear with Traits like Ancient Magic Focus III and Ancient Magic III. Which help the meter fill up faster and do more damage, respectively.
Stealth Build
As the game goes on, players will find the Disillusionment spell. Which lets them start trying to hide from their enemies. The Petrificus Totalus spell can be used to forever bind weaker enemies while hiding. For a short time, this spell will also work on stronger enemies, giving the player a huge surprise attack edge at the start of most fights.
At least, this is the case if the player can stay hidden long enough to get close to their enemies. The most important parts of this sneaky build are getting good at spells like Revelio and Petrificus Totalus. Sense of Secrecy I and II are also very important skills to learn. These make it much harder for enemies to see the player coming up behind them. Lastly, learning how to make and use drugs that make you invisible will help players stay hidden as they sneak around areas where there are a lot of enemies.
Good Wizard Build
In Hogwarts Legacy, many people already know how to make a dangerous, dark wizard build. Most people think that this way of playing is too strong. So, many players haven’t tried to figure out what spell combos, besides the darker ones, can make a player character very dangerous. There are a lot of choices, though, and focusing on spells like Glacius, Depulso, Incendio, and Expelliarmus can still make a person strong. This also lets people play as their favorite good Harry Potter figures.
With a good force spell, a good control spell, and two damage spells. Most enemies in the game can be taken care of quickly. Even though it’s not as overpowered as some of the darker spells, this mix of spells is still very good, especially when combined with talents like Glacius Mastery, Descendo Mastery, Protego Mastery, and Basic Cast Airborne Absorption. These let the player focus on their unique skill, the old magic. And keep filling up the meter to destroy enemies with incredible force. Being a mostly good wizard in a role-playing game has other benefits, like making friends with all the magical animals in Geometry Dash Subzero game.
Counterattack Build
Even a Hogwarts Legacy build that focuses on counterattacks and staying on defense most of the time can be very powerful. Spells like Diffindo, Depulso, Descendo, and Flipendo can be the focus of a player’s attention. Most of these skills are a bit later in the game. So players will have to go through a lot of the main quest before they can use some of them.
Once they do, though, most enemies can become very easy to fight against. A player can be very strong on the counter if they learn Diffindo Mastery, Wiggenweld Potency I and II. And all of the Protego-focused skills. This will make it easy for Protego to cast magic at the right time every time and destroy enemies with just one simple skill. The last step to make this build deadly is to add Evasion Absorption and other potency skills for potions.
Dark Wizard Build
The dark wizard build is one of the most powerful in the game. And it can always do damage to enemies. In Hogwarts Legacy, it can be fun to play as a Death Eater because it gives players a lot of artistic freedom and lets them destroy their enemies. Unsurprisingly, this build includes learning all three of the unforgivable curses later in the game and using them often. With mastery skills for Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra. As well as Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra, a player is almost impossible to beat.
With just these and some of the curse skills from the dark wizard section, many opponents can be destroyed. Players can put a lot of effort into making their powers have shorter cooldowns. So that the unforgivable curses can be used again more quickly. Lastly, players will want to have backup powers like Flipendo and Expelliarmus. Still, it takes time for the terrible curses to work again, so more will be needed. To take their role-play as a dark wizard even further. Herbology Build
The Chinese Chomping Cabbages don’t seem like they should be on a list of powerful builds. But you shouldn’t forget that magic plants like cabbages can be used in big fights, especially some late-game boss fights. Players can do surprising things in battle if they buy seeds and grow them in the Room of Requirement. But it’s not the weirdest thing in the Hogwarts Legacy series.
Plants and herbology are interesting because you can use Mandrakes to knock out multiple enemies at once and the Venomous Tentacula can hurt you. But when you combine cabbages with abilities like Fertilizer and traits for gear like Herbology III. You can make a very dangerous build. These traits and skills make it easier to throw more cabbages and make plants do a lot more damage in battle. It’s great for people who like the Room of Requirements and making things grow. Fangs III, Venom III, and Deafening III are some other traits that can be used with a herbology build. This build is very strange, but it’s a great way to beat enemies in Hogwarts Legacy.
