As Final Fantasy 16 players make their way through the game, they won’t want to miss these hidden gems.
There’s nothing more frustrating for a player than learning that they’ve gone too far in the game and now can’t get to certain items or content. In Final Fantasy 16, players will be glad to hear that they can’t stop themselves from getting many items because they can replay tasks.
But there are some things they might miss while discovering the huge world of Valisthea. Players will want to make sure they get all of these things during their playthrough because they can be very helpful. Players who want to know more about them can read on to find out what they are and where they can be found.
Treasure Map
If a player wants to make some Gil, they might want to look in this secret chest. Even though there are other ways to get Gil, this is a quick and easy way to get 100,000 Gil just for doing a little bit of exploring. Once the player gets to the Kingdom of Waloed, they will be able to find this. At the North-West end of the map, near the Great Southern Gate, there will be some enemies and a dead body next to an item.
This thing is the Treasure Map, which shows the way to The Dhalmekian Republic. On the southern road near Titan’s Wake, there will be more enemies and a camp with a chest. This chest will give the player an item called “One Man’s Treasure” that is worth 100,000 Gil if sold to a trader.
Demontamer’s Sache
The Demontamer’s Sache is a rare belt with good defense stats that the player may want to look for. Players will need to go to the Royal Meadows in The Royal Empire of Sanbreque to get it. The player will find this chest and some enemies after going north to Baywatch.
Strangely, there seems to be another place where some players have found the Demontamer’s Sache. The other way to get this belt is to travel to The Gran Duchy of Rosaria. In The Audhyl Docks, there is a shed with a chest inside that is close to the water. In either case, it’s a good item that can help the player stay alive as they move.
Ouroboros
When players are getting close to the end of the game, they should be careful about selling crafting ingredients because some of them are rare and they may not be able to make the best things in the game without them. The Ouroboros belt is one example of this. It’s one of the best belts in the game, with 95 Defense and 32 Health.
For players to get it, they need to finish the third quest in the “Blacksmith’s Blues” quest line. This will give them the drafting plan for crafting. Then, they will want to get a Stone Tongue, a Comet Feather, and a piece of Orichalcum. Orichalcum can be found through several Notorious Mark Hunts, and the Tongue and Feather can be found through the Agni and Dread Comet Hunts. Players can then make this great item with the elements and the draft.
Coral Sword
Some of the missable things in Final Fantasy 16, like the Curiosities, don’t have a huge effect on the player’s experience of the game. The swords they can miss, on the other hand, are very strong and can make a big difference in a fight. The Coral Sword is a tool that players will want to get their hands on.
After beating the Akashic Champion during The Crystal’s Curse Main Quest, you can get this rare sword. There is a wooden barrier nearby that can be taken apart to make a way. The player can get to the chest with the Coral Sword by going to the right of the metal grate. This beautiful sword is worth getting because it has 185 Attack and Stagger.
Ancient Sword
Aside from using the right accessories, the best way for players to improve their fighting skills is to upgrade the sword they are using. The Ancient Sword is a great weapon that can be found in a box in The Dhalmekian Republic. It has a good Attack and Stagger of 252.
Players will need to go to The Steps of the Forgotten to find it. The Ancient Sword is in a box that is on the ground between Mekith and Laetny’s Hoard.
Masamune
This sword is a mainstay of the Final Fantasy series, showing up in almost every Happy Wheels game. It has also always been a good weapon, and with 310 Attack and Stagger in Final Fantasy 16, it lives up to its name. It also looks different because it is shaped like a big sword.
Go to the small path south of The Angry Gap in The Kingdom of Waloed to find this famous weapon. After beating some monsters and opening the nearby chest, players can then equip Masamune. It has good stats and a unique look, so players won’t want to pass it up.
Gotterdammerung
Gotterdammerung is the most powerful sword that players can get during their first game of Final Fantasy 16. Besides having a strange name and a unique appearance, it stands out because its Attack and Stagger are both 375. But it also needs some very rare making materials that players won’t want to sell because they might not be able to make this amazing blade if they do.
Players must finish the Blacksmith’s Blues quest line to get Gotterdammerung and the prize that comes with it. By doing this, they will get the Design Draft and the Ragnarok Sword. Then, they will need to get three pieces of orichalcum, two pieces of darksteel, and a primitive battlehorn. All of these are available from different Notorious Marks. Darksteel comes from Thanatos and The Prince of Death, and the Primitive Battlehorn comes from the Gobermouch. Once players have all the parts, they will be able to make the best weapon in the game.
Final Fantasy 16 can now be played on the PS5.
